Hello!

As you could probably tell from the domain name, I'm Hussein.
I was born in Egypt but grew up split between Cairo and Vancouver. My science Undergrad was an integration of Neuroscience and Human Physiology with a focus on MBSR at UBC, but my passions are cognition, learning (machine and human), and emergent properties of complex systems (kids). When I'm not working in Special Ed, I like to spend my spare time improving my SciComm skills, running after school programs at Poiesis and learning more about computation and representation in the brain. I believe in simple, personalized, solutions and look forward to building a career around them.
